Failing that, you are SOL, since nobody forced them out of you.If I was an extremist libertarian I would argue the following: Everybody has the right to contract. But society doesn't have a right to contract on my behalf. Therefore if an individual wants to contract with society to disclose his idea in return for compensation he must negotiate individually with each member of society. If I don't accept the terms of his contract, I am under no obligation to respect it.
